She is a consulting editor and author for NAEYC (USA), the co-chair of the Early Childhood Interest Group of National Association for Bilingual Development, and she is on the board of New Jersey Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages/ New Jersey Bilingual Educators.
Karen brings with her a wealth of experience in the Early Childhood sector, having worked as an Ed. Program Development Specialist for Preschool (State of New Jersey, Department of Educatn) . Her experience includes teaching and consultancy services to public and non-public schools, colleges, child care resource. She is the author of many highly regarded titles on supporting Bilingualism and Diversity in the Classroom.
